Things you cannot say on Facebook #1

I can't say, "I'm not having children" on Facebook, because then all the people who are expecting/have children will be like, "What a DOUCHE."

And they would not be wrong, but lemme explain...

My decision is not necessarily a judgment on other people, but it also kind of is.  Sort of like the vegetarian thing.  I choose not to eat meat because I think it's wrong.  It's a decision I've made after considering the consequences of my actions.  I'm choosing not to have kids because I think it's wrong FOR ME.  Is is wrong for the world (the way eating meat DEFINITELY IS)???  That remains to be seen.

I really don't want people to fear my judgment, because I don't matter at all.

But I also want people to know, like, this is how I feel.  And how I feel is informed by a consideration of the future.  And the future looks bleak for everybody.  Why would you want to introduce kids into that mix?

Like when they're my age they will literally be staring down armageddon.

Do you all really want that?
